Repository Limit

What is it?

This feature automatically alerts Datree's admin accounts when the number of private repositories in their organization reaches its limit. This is especially useful for GitHub users working with previous pricing models whereby an organization is charged per repository and not per user.

For example, under the previous pricing model, if a GitHub account purchased 500 private repositories and then opened an additional repository; the newest repository is public until the organization purchases additional repositories.

How does it work?

  1. The Datree app monitors newly opened repositories

  1. When the organization’s number of private repositories reaches its prespecified limit, an email notification is automatically sent to Datree’s admin accounts
